My fascination with aviation started at age 6 - a world away from Nashville on Clark AFB, Philippines - the year was 1962.

I remember the Convair F-102 Delta Dagger taking off at dusk with flames shooting out the back. Six Air Force Bases later, and seeing a Harrier jump jet do a vertical landing, I knew I wanted to be a pilot someday. I signed up for my first flight lesson 37 years later in Nashville. The year was 1999. In 2007, I earned my FAA CFI-ASEL, and in September 2011, I obtained my CFII. Two of my favorite phases of instruction are Cross-Country navigation and Basic instrument flight.
